I work at the centre as the Head Veterinary Nurse. My career first started back in December 2012 as the weekend cattery attendant, and in April 2013 I was lucky enough to be offered a trainee veterinary nurse position. I had successfully completed my Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE SA by the end of 2015, and have been working full time since. Over the years I have gained more responsibility and in April 2024 I became the Head Veterinary Nurse.
I love working here, surrounded by a fantastic team and very lovely clients. I find my job very rewarding. I really enjoy being able to help our clients and look after their fur babies during their stay here.
I have always loved animals and nature. I enjoy spending my free time walking and going fishing with my family. When I get the chance, I love going away for the weekend, especially to my grandmothers shack along the Murray River.
At home I have Shay the black tri Australian Shepherd and Leia the silver tabby dsh cat.
