Ever since I was little I wanted to work with animals, I am one of five children and I was always the one bringing home lost pets, housing caterpillars and owning a variety of animals such as our cat Tilly, guinea pigs, rabbits and budgies (what ever my parents would allow!). After leaving school I studied my Certificate 2 in Animal Studies through TAFE SA, which I really enjoyed. This then lead me to currently studying my Cert 4 in Veterinary Nursing through Open colleges. I was lucky to secure work placement at Hills Veterinary Centre in Blackwood in 2015.

After doing work placement for a few months, I was offered a casual position in the clinic. I feel so privileged and lucky to be a part of such an amazing team of Vets and Nurses and I always look forward to coming to work. The atmosphere is always positive and they are always happy to teach me new skills and answer any questions I might have.

I have really enjoyed getting to know all the clients and their pets at the clinic. I love being able to answer any questions they may have as I know how important their pets are to them, they are part of the family.

My partner Andy and I have recently bought a house in Eden hills as we love the area. Together we own a boxer called Ruby, she is five years old and brings so much entertainment and love to our lives. In my spare time, I love to go camping, go to the gym, hiking and spending time with my young nieces and nephews.
