I grew up in the Blackwood area, and have been working at the Hills Vet Centre since 2006, where I started as a locum but soon became a permanent member of the team.
It is a fantastic place to work and I feel I have formed a real bond over the years with many clients and their furry friends. It is great having seen new puppies or kittens come in for their 1st vaccinations and now to be able to help them in their senior years!
A few years ago I became Head Nurse and took on some more admin and nurse organisational duties which I really enjoy, but I still love nursing and seeing a variety of pets and the different cases we treat.
I have a tiny rescue dog called Tico who was brought into the clinic as a stray and after spending a month at the RSPCA, found his forever home with me and my husband. He loves playing and walks in the park, but most of all he loves lying on his back to have his tummy tickled!
I love summer, beer & bbq's, and also love to travel (when possible) and have been lucky enough to encounter some amazing wildlife in my husbands home of South America such as sloths, tigrillos, toucans & anacondas.
